Privacy Policy
LawLinq, Inc. (“LawLinq”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our customers and member attorneys. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you provide to us.
Use of Information
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We only use the information we collect about you to evaluate potential claims, provide lawyer referral services, send information about our services, and keep you informed about relevant events.
If you provide us with your email address, physical address, or phone number, you are giving LawLinq and our member attorneys permission to send you information related to your inquiry. If you no longer wish to receive communications, you may opt-out at any time by following the instructions included in our communications or by replying “STOP” to any SMS message.
Protection of Information
All customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. We do not automatically gather personal information; such information is only obtained if you choose to voluntarily provide it via email, telephone, or by submitting a form on our website. While we take commercially reasonable steps to secure your data, any information sent electronically is done at your own risk.
Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. To facilitate our services, we will release the information you provide to our network of member attorneys and affiliated consumer attorneys throughout the United States.
We may also release information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of our user agreements, or (iii) protect the rights, property, or safety of LawLinq, our users, or others.
Mobile Messaging & SMS Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you opt-in to receive SMS notifications (such as case lead alerts), LawLinq will use your phone number exclusively to provide those specific updates. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of membership or purchase. You may opt-out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Your Consent
By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by LawLinq and our network of member attorneys as outlined above. LawLinq reserves the right to revise this policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it.
No Attorney-CLIENT Relationship
The submission of information or use of this website is not intended to create, and does not create, an attorney-client relationship between LawLinq, LawLinq’s network of member attorneys, and the user. LawLinq and its network members are not your attorneys until an attorney-client relationship has been established in writing.
